What is Karimlan?
Karimlan is an original RedM roleplay universe featuring multiple experiences set across parallel worlds. Each experience offers a different way to explore the Karimlan Universe, from immersive roleplay and storytelling to survival gameplay and exploration.
Built on the RedM platform using Red Dead Redemption 2 assets, Karimlan exists as its own original setting, separate from the official Red Dead Redemption storyline, characters, and canon.
What experiences are part of Karimlan?
Karimlan: Beyond the Veil
(Currently known as Republika Roleplay)
Karimlan: Beyond the Veil is the main roleplay experience of the Karimlan Universe. Set in a parallel world shaped by human civilization, politics, and society, players create their own stories through factions, professions, economy, and immersive roleplay.
As the world expands, players will uncover the mysteries surrounding the Rift and the forces that exist beyond the known world.
Karimlan: Survive the Rift
Karimlan: Survive the Rift is a PvPvE survival experience set within the same universe. Players venture into dangerous territories beyond the Rift, where they must gather resources, craft, build, explore, and survive against the threats within the world.
Are Karimlan: Beyond the Veil and Survive the Rift the same server?
No. They are separate experiences within the same Karimlan Universe.
While both share the same foundation and connected setting, each server offers a different gameplay experience:

Is Karimlan connected to Red Dead Online?
No. Karimlan is completely independent from Red Dead Online.
All characters, progression, properties, and roleplay exist exclusively on Karimlan Universe. While both servers use the world and assets of Red Dead Redemption 2, it features its own custom gameplay systems, economy, government, professions, and roleplay mechanics designed specifically for the Karimlan experience.
What is Republika Roleplay?
Republika Roleplay is the current name of the Karimlan roleplay experience. It will be rebranded as Karimlan: Beyond the Veil as the server expands into the larger Karimlan Universe.
The transition will preserve the foundation of the server while introducing new worldbuilding, supernatural elements, and deeper connections to the Rift.
How do I join Karimlan?
To join Karimlan, you will need:
- A PC capable of running RedM
- A legal copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 or Red Dead Online
(Available through Steam, Epic Games, or Rockstar Games Launcher) - A Rockstar Games account
- RedM installed
- A Discord account for onboarding, verification, support, and community access
Once you have everything ready:
- Install RedM
- Join the Karimlan Discord community.
- Complete the onboarding and verification process.
- Search for the server you want to play:

RedM is free to download at https://redm.gg/ and is required to connect to Karimlan.

Joining our Discord is required to stay informed and receive support throughout your time on the server.
Can I play both servers?
Yes. Players can participate in both Karimlan experiences.
However, each server has its own progression, gameplay systems, and rules. Characters and items are not automatically shared between experiences.

Can I Play on Xbox or PlayStation?
No. RedM is only available for Windows PCs and is not supported on Xbox or PlayStation consoles.
Connect & Play
Once RedM is installed, you’re ready to join Karimlan.
- Launch RedM. You may be asked to authorize RedM with your Discord account.
- Open the Server List and search for the server you want to play.
- Select the server and click Connect.
Can’t find the Server?
If you cannot find the server:
- Make sure RedM is updated
- Restart RedM
- Clear your RedM cache
- Search using the correct server name

If the server doesn’t appear in the list or you’re unable to join:
- Press F8 to open the console.
- Type the following command: connect play.republikarp.com
- Press Enter to connect directly to the server.
If you still cannot connect, visit the Karimlan Discord for support.
